Duties:Represent employee organizations in traditional labor matters.Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.Handle grievance arbitrations and resolve labor disputes.Manage and file unfair labor practice charges.Draft and submit petitions for recognition.Handle various administrative matters related to labor and employment law.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding labor and employment issues.Stay updated on changes and developments in labor and employment law.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on cases and projects. Requirements:4-7 years of experience in labor and employment law.Experience or strong interest in representing employee organizations.Proficiency in handling traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.Demonstrated ability to manage petitions for recognition and other administrative matters.Excellent writing and research skills.Strong work ethic and superior academic record.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Ohio State Bar, in good standing. Certifications:Active membership in the Ohio State Bar Association. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
