Practice Area: Finance - General,Finance - Project Finance, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its Project Energy group. The successful candidate will focus on energy transition financing matters and handle complex transactions in financing and MA for energy transition projects and companies, particularly in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Key Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as:Working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing.Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.Attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:4-6 years of relevant experience.Experience handling transactions in financing and MA of energy transition projects and companies.Experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.Must be admitted to practice in North Carolina.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.Certifications:Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive work relationships.Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.High level of professionalism and adherence to firm policies and practices.Job Location:Raleigh, NC This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
