Job Overview:Serve as a key member of the debt finance team, specializing in private equity transactions.Manage complex transactions and provide legal counsel on debt finance matters.Collaborate with partners and clients to ensure efficient and successful deal execution. Duties:Draft, review, and negotiate debt financing agreements and related documentation.Conduct due diligence and research on financing structures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Provide strategic advice and risk assessment to clients regarding debt financing options.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless transaction execution. Requirements:3-5 years of experience in private equity debt finance transactions, preferably on the lender side.Familiarity with market terms and industry standards in debt financing.Strong understanding of financial principles and transactional law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar (or willingness to become admitted). Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Attention to detail and accuracy in document review and drafting.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
