Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s medical center client located in Decatur, GA Right now seeking to gather Registered Nurses who are interested in working alongside one of the largest integrated Health Care Systems. Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit, Emergency Room, Medical / Surgical Units, Stepdown Unit, Spinal Cord Injury Unit, and Extended Care Unit Services Specialty RNs (4 RNs) - could have backgrounds in OR, ER, Intensive Care, Long Term Care, Dialysis, Primary Care, Mental Health. Medical/Surgical Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to adult and geriatric patients in the critical care environment Assessment and care of patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and with a wide range of treatment modalities Care of patients requiring special precautions such as isolation Providing emergency care as indicated Complete and accurate documentation of care according to facility/unit policies Phlebotomy and bedside testing Complex wound dressing care and maintenance Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in related field, but an associate degree, or diploma educational level considered with valid license and current experience or a master’s degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred. Minimum requirement for all registered nurses assigned to a Medical-Surgical unit shall include a current unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States) and a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate accredited by the American Heart Association.
