Location: Patient Centered Care Position: Medical Assistant - Part Time Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient information. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment. Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification. Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting AT LEAST 1 YEAR. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Proficiency in electronic health record systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Note: Small private owned Nurse Practitioner office. Hire needs to have the ability to work in New Hanover & Brunswick County offices.
