Location: Rosedale Office Building Department: Locum Tenens and Pool Staff Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 8 Summary: The PN MA, Internal Staffing will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families as supervised and assigned by the RN/LVN and/or physician/nurse practitioner. The Medical Assistant will deliver competent care with a team orientated attitude and an emphasis on good customer relations and sound clinical judgment. This position floats to the various CCPN office locations as assigned. Eagerly adjusts to a variety of locations, quickly learning differing routines, procedures, and physician expectations. Role model for all staff, displaying strict adherence to all policies and procedures; impeccable judgement. Exhibits extraordinary dependability and adaptability. Extensive travel required. Skillfully and consistently performs daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure. Education and Experience: A Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting1-year experience as a medical assistant in a pediatric outpatient care setting preferred Certification/Licensure: Current AHA healthcare provider BLSValid Texas drivers license and current Texas automobile liability insuranceCurrent National MA certification - preferred About Cook Children's: Our not-for-profit organization is comprised of a flagship medical center in Fort Worth, Texas, a new medical center in Prosper, Texas, a physician network, home health company, surgery centers, health plan, health services, and health foundation.
