Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide professional care for clinic patients under the supervision of a provider. Key responsibilities include: Providing professional care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Working collaboratively with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care. Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate patient records. Requirements: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or technical degree preferred. National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent required. Basic Life Support certification required within six months of employment. Completion of Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter. Work Schedule: Day shift as needed; PRN (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Pay: $27.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Avera is a Level 10 Most Wired Health Care Organization and a Forbes list of America's Best-in-State Employers.
