Although we require experienced applicants for some positions, we are always looking for employees who are willing to be flexible and learn new skills.Job DescriptionElder Corporation is recruiting prospective employees for Class 7 and 8 Heavy Truck/Trailer and Class 2 Light Duty Truck Mechanic positions. All prospective employees will be subject to a pre-employment drug test, physical, and a background check. Mechanic positions are considered Safety Sensitive positions and are applicable to DOT and FMCA regulations.Required Skills:- Must be dependable and willing to report to work on time- Must be able to work extended hours during the construction season- Must be able to perform a variety of skilled duties which may involve inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on our heavy truck/trailer and vehicle fleet- Must be able to maintain and update equipment records on a computerProgram specific training will be provided. Must provide own tools and possess the ability to safely and effectively use them. Specialty tools will be provided.Preferred Skills: Class A CDL, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.Benefits100% company paid medical, dental, vision and pension!All prospective employees will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, physical and a background check.by Jobble
