Master Data Analyst

Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support operations by creating, monitoring and analyzing master data, key data and master relationship data within the organization * Ensure quality of master data in key systems as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support on-going maintenance and data integrity * In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, define and implement data strategy, policies, controls and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure and reliable * Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE: * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in industrial environment. * Ability to create, implement, and facilitate highly independent project work. * Knowledge use of continuous improvement methodologies * Demonstrated skills in data administration, design and architecture * Flexible and able to work within changing business conditions and technologies * Detail-oriented mindset EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, engineering, or industrial management. Graduate degree a plus. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES: * Strong Microsoft Office suite (excel) skills * Must have experience with SAP; PR/PO process, goods / services description, part number nomenclature a plus, other. * Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills. * Ability to work closely with all areas of the operation, including leadership team. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Process orientation and user satisfaction attitude * Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely updates to stakeholders about progress * Teamwork * Adaptability * Accountability * Reliability/dependability * Initiative * Safety awareness * Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback * Pride in performance * Communication (customers, team members, external data providers, leadership) * Positive responses to change * High attention to detail
