Job Title: Communications Coordinator Location: Philadelphia, PA Department: Communications/Marketing Job Summary: The Communications Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the organization's public image, managing internal and external communications, and supporting marketing initiatives. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of tasks ranging from social media management to content creation and media relations. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner. Analyze social media metrics and prepare regular reports to track performance and suggest improvements. Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts. Draft and distribute press releases and other media materials. Coordinate media requests and facilitate interviews with company representatives. Internal Communications: Support the development and dissemination of internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged. Organize and manage internal events such as meetings, webinars, and team-building activities. Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of communication campaigns and projects. Coordinate with other departments to gather information and ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that inform communication strategies. Monitor industry news and competitor activities to keep the team updated on relevant developments. Qualifications Strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools. Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail. Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
