Location: San Francisco/Bay Area Join Our Dynamic Sales Team: Market Development Manager : Retail Gallo is on the hunt for a proactive and passionate Retail Account Specialist to champion the sales and distribution of our esteemed brands across various retail accounts. In this pivotal role, youll be at the forefront of executing strategic sales and marketing plans, ensuring Gallo brands not only meet but exceed annual sales targets. Your mission will be to work collaboratively with distributor personnel, including Representatives, District Managers, and Account Managers, dedicating 80 of your time in the field to close sales gaps and secure points of distribution. Youll be tasked with strategic planning to maximize sales opportunities, making insightful decisions to allocate your time effectively across different brands and accounts based on performance and potential. As a key player in our sales force, youll directly monitor performance goals, offer training and coaching to distributor teams, and gather marketing intelligence to share with management, highlighting opportunities for Gallo sales in the market. Your keen eye for detail will assist in ensuring retail prices align with state brand guidance and identifying competitive pricing strategies. Youll engage accounts and distributor personnel to maximize e:Retail opportunities and support the commercialization of digital marketing programs, leveraging technology to monitor performance and identify opportunities. As a Gallo Ambassador, youll advocate for our brands, utilizing social media and other platforms to promote Gallo sales within the community. Your ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels of account and distributor management will be key to your success. What You Will Need: :Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience to include rotations as either an Area Manger or Account Manager reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of CPG sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State:issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience to include rotations as either an Area Manager or Account Manager reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.:Skilled communicator and ability to collaborate and influence external or cross functional stakeholders.:Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.:Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality.:Required to travel by air and car in order to execute job functions.:Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform wine tastings as part of job functions.:Required to be 21 years of age or older.:Required to travel by air and automobile up to 25 during the course of business.:Experience demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills.:Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5 of the time, with or without reasonable
