Job Description:Job Title: Manufacturing OperatorJob #: 2024-8875Schedule: 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm Monday - Friday)Overtime: Weekends as NeededSalary: $21-$23 Hourly (Depending Upon Experience)Location: Chillicothe, OHNumber of Openings: 1Job DescriptionSchedule: * 40-hour work week * Some OT and weekends * Monitors and operates equipment and facilities, including Field * Equipment * Ensuring Quality and conformance with standard operating * procedures. * Maintaining Safety standards at all times * Initiating and following Emergency Procedures when necessary * Rotating through various roles within the area, including, in some cases, a Control Room * rotation. * Reporting to Shift LeadAdditional Physical Demands / Working Conditions are: * Sitting * Standing * Walking * Stair climbing * Caged Ladder climbing * Turning wrench/valve handles * Bending * Stooping * Twisting * Kneeling * Crouching * Crawling * Reaching above shoulders * Repetitive motion * Operating Mobile Equipment * Confined space entry * Balancing * Lifting (Up to 50 lbs) * Carrying (Up to 50 lbs) * Pushing * Pulling * Wearing protective clothing including eye, ear, head, and foot * Protection * Use of additional PPE such as acid suits, respirators * Exposure to Dusts/mists/fumes/solvents * Exposure to Wet/damp/icy walking and working surfaces. * Exposure to Indoor and outdoor working conditions * Exposure to Hot and cold.Required: * HS Diploma or equivalency * Ability to lift 50 lbs. * Ability work standing up to 8-hour days * Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment. * Comfortable working with hazardous materialsPreferred: * Previous manufacturing experience * Previous experience operating fork trucks * Working knowledge of Personal computers * Prefer a two year Manufacturing Associate degree or the equivalencyOur Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
