Manufacturing Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary This position supports the Tulsa manufacturing team by ensuring that adequate supply of inventory and supplies are available to sustain the manufacturing processes, as well as pricing RFQs and processing POs for finished products, and handling logistics and shipping of current product line. Job Functions/Duties (may be assigned other duties by management) · In cooperation with the manufacturing team, controls inventory of all parts required for the manufacturing process (especially the building parts, and also consumables, hand tools, protective equipment, etc.) · Sourcing all needed items from internal purchasing group to avoid deficiencies (sending RFQs and processing POs for all items that the Tulsa manufacturing site requires) · Communication with QA to ensure we do first article evaluations, and incoming inspection. · Assisting the engineering group, along with the manufacturing group, with new products, sourcing and accurate documentation for the ERP system · Coordinate QE's and returns. · Analyzes monthly inventory consumption: Using software tools and knowledge of expected inventory requirements to prepare and submit the monthly inventory order request to the purchasing department · Reviews purchase order shipment and tracking data to ensure continuous and adequate availability of inventory and supplies for manufacturing. Takes action as needed making recommendations to supervisor to accelerate or defer deliveries of inventory shipments. · Ensures the team has the right amount of stock to meet customer needs and to avoid overstocking items · Interacts regularly and routinely with the purchasing team to ensure orders and deliveries are updated in the ERP system and are consistent with the ongoing business needs · Interacts regularly and routinely with the corporate, manufacturing, scheduling and logistics teams to communicate the operation's needs and requests with respect to production scheduling, and/or accelerated or deferred inventory shipments · Provides analysis and support to sourcing/vendor evaluation and qualification decisions · Manages supplies and commodities to ensure quality product, on time deliveries and lowest costs · Ensures all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase order and report any missing products · Knows and enforces safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promotes safety process and reports any safety issues to proper channels for action. Qualifications/Education Requirements · 2 years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience · Previous experience with ESP products is preferred · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software · Self-motivated and able to work well independently and within a team · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Strong attention to detail · Ability to prioritize tasks · Good written and verbal communication skills · Experience working across different functions · High School diploma or equivalent required · Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Normal office and routine exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties Required to routinely move about the facility Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while in shop environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
