The Role: KREWE is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Wholesale to manage and grow our strategic customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale account building and management, with a track record of growth. They will be responsible for managing the execution of selling strategy, optimizing processes, representing the voice of the customer in inventory buying decisions, and setting the standard for overall operational excellence within the wholesale division. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high standards of customer service. The Manager, Wholesale, plays a critical role in ensuring the success and profitability of our wholesale division. Based at our New Orleans Headquarters, this role reports to the VP of Wholesale. Travel to meet clients and attend trade shows is expected. Responsibilities: Establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple national omni-channel retail accounts for brick and mortar and online business channels. Manage the execution of sales and channel growth strategies, including strategic growth initiatives, international expansion, third party rep groups, etc. Maximize brand penetration and profitability with each account. Identify, secure, and manage the execution of trade show opportunities. Support the onboarding, and management, and goal achievement of third party rep groups. Take a proactive approach to making recommendations to further drive in-season business, identifying and reacting to new opportunities by reviewing and analyzing sales data and feedback from the team. Prepare agenda and conduct weekly sales meetings. Effectively communicate needs of the sales department and execute those needs with other departments. Review and analyze current sales processes and identify areas that need to be streamlined. Support VP of Wholesale with day-to-day channel operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, marketing, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5 - 7 years in wholesale sales, with a track record of success in closing deals and achieving and exceeding revenue goals. Knowledge of retail / fashion accessory buying cycles, fashion accessories industry, market trends, and consumer behavior. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate favorable terms and resolve conflicts. Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges. Knowledge of wholesale industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to drive results and achieve targets in a competitive marketplace.
