Make history with us.General SummarySeeking an engaging person to join Campbell's as a team member in the Financial Reporting Group, supporting compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting obligations. Responsibilities will include certain monthly closing functions, assisting in the preparation of SEC filings, oversight of the accounting and disclosure of the company's cost savings initiatives, analysis of transactions and development of technical accounting position papers, implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements, and participation in special projects as needed. The position will also participate in the dynamic, fast-paced Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) sector as a member of our Financial Reporting Group, supporting climate-related disclosures with a focus on ESG reporting. Responsibilities will include monitoring the SEC climate disclosure rules and working with a cross functional team to build robust and auditable disclosures around climate-related goals and matters.This position will work with cross functional teams within general accounting, other corporate functions, and the business units. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion to learn and a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on streamlining and building efficient controlled processes. Attention to detail, ability to make connections (or synthesize facts) and draw logical conclusions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver and work under tight time constraints are a must.Principal Accountabilities--- Assist in the preparation and review of the monthly and quarterly financial statement schedules and related analysis.--- Assist with preparation and filing of the Company's financial reports on Forms 10-Q and Form 10-K and other SEC filings, including review of Inline Xtensible Business Reporting Language (iXBRL) tagging of financial statements and footnotes.--- Review of accounting and reporting of the company's cost savings initiatives while working closely with project team leads and Corporate FP&A.--- Assist in the review of all press release and investor materials.--- Conduct technical accounting research and requirements as new business situations arise or new rules are implemented.--- Maintain expertise in the evolving ESG reporting landscape, and develop policies and processes related to sustainability reporting.--- Ad Hoc/Special Projects as needed - Provide direct support on various special projects.Job Complexity and ScopeMust have a strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and be able to understand complex accounting literature and apply to business/specific transactions. The person needs to perform with high accuracy under tight time constraints and have the ability to interact with key financial personnel: Corporate FP&A, business unit finance, general accounting, sustainability team, and internal audit.Job SpecificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting5+ years Accounting/Finance experienceCertified Public Accountant requiredDemonstrated leadership skills requiredHighly motivated and proactive in problem solving requiredExperience with SAP and/or EPM a plusTravel: MinimalCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
