Management Accountant – Advisory Firm Role: Management Accountant Location: Central London Hybrid Salary: £55,000Reporting to: CFOWe are working with a firm that provides various financial advisory services in the domains of property management, corporate finance, and fund management. The position will manage the preparation of the monthly management accounts along with ensuring a process of continual improvement in the processes of the department. Due to the nature of the role, only fully qualified candidates will be considered. Job Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts Analysis and commentary of the consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet and account reconciliations Preparation/review of forecasts and budgets Liaising with accounts assistant on purchase ledger coding and weekly payment runs Raising sales invoices Supporting the property team on transactions as they arise Working with the divisional teams to monitor budgets and forecasts. Liaising with the wider teams on financial processes and controls Review/preparation of year-end audit schedules Leading project for increasing efficiencies and automations in our new accounting software Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Review and authorise 4 payrolls. Monthly pension submissions and responsibility of P11Ds Review and submission of Group VAT and individual VAT returns File confirmation statements The Perfect Candidate: Fully qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Business Central is highly desirable in particular. Experience with reviewing payroll and VAT is required for this role. Strong analytical skills and ability to highlight issues and suggest solutions. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Be hands-on and proactive. Good time management skills to ensure targets and job timescales are managed and met. The drive to learn, change and develop with a desire to be involved in best.
