The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managed care litigation, specifically in litigating reimbursement disputes between healthcare providers and payors, and a demonstrated ongoing interest in this area of law.Duties:Handle managed care litigation matters, focusing on reimbursement disputes between healthcare providers and payors.Provide legal counsel and representation to healthcare provider clients in managed care disputes.Analyze complex legal issues and provide effective legal strategies and solutions.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff on litigation matters.Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the litigation process.Requirements:JD degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing.2-4 years of experience in managed care litigation, preferably at a large or specialized law firm.Strong understanding of reimbursement issues in the healthcare industry.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate legal concepts.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Demonstrated interest and commitment to managed care litigation.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze intricate legal issues and provide clear and concise solutions.Effective time management and organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Experience in provider-side representation in managed care disputes is preferred.Certifications:Certification in Health Law or related field (preferred).Education:JD degree from an accredited law school.Benefits: The firm offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
