Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled multi-craft Maintenance Technician to maintain , repair, and install plant production and/or processing equipment. Why Work at Welch's: . Set shift schedules Overtime is generally available Advancement opportunities Where You'll Work This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in North East, PA. What You'll Do: Maintain and repair production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration, and facilities Install, repair, and maintain piping components, motor s, pumps, control panels, pneumatic systems, and controls Continuously improve equipment performance and reduce downtime Collaborate with production and processing teams to maximize machine uptime Train other mechanics on equipment maintenance and set-up Use of computerized Maintenance Management System to document work orders, parts usage, and equipment information Perform preventive maintenance tasks and suggest efficiency improvements Recommend and implement changes to improve equipment performance and reliability Follow food safety, housekeeping , and sanitation procedures at all times Participate in regular meetings Other duties as assigned Who You Are: Able to work safely around complex, automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment Strong troubleshooting skills Effective communication, including both written and verbal forms of collaboration Proactive in finding root cause and fixing issues Able to work independently and as part of a team What You'll Need: 2+ years of experience preferred in a manufacturing/processing environment as a Maintenance Technician , Maintenance Mechanic , Utilities Operator, Refrigeration Technician, or Preventative Maintenance Technician Minimum of 2 years of machine maintenance and repair experience required Experience in a food, beverage, and/or GMP compliant environment preferred Multi-craft skillset including experience with Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, and mechanical systems Must pass a maintenance aptitude test before hiring What You'll Enjoy: Organization with a bold, clear purpose & vision for the future Inclusive Culture: Be a part of an inclusive workplace where you not only belong but also have the opportunity to be the best version of yourself Passionate Community : Y ou are encouraged to have a voice, share your opinions, and have individual impact on the success of the business Paid Time Off and Holidays: Available immediately for you to enjoy time away from the office to rest and recharge Development & Advancement : Access to LinkedIn Learning as well as both formal and informal opportunities to develop and grow your career Compensation Package Consisting of Competitive Base Salary and Annual Incentive Plan (Bonus ) 401K plan with Generous Company Match Flexible Benefits from your first day: Choose the benefits that meet your needs and preferences Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Health Savings Accounts Life and accident insurance Employee Assistance Programs Tuition reimbursement program Additional benefits available through Perks at Work Paid parental (and adoption) leave - Available after 12 months of employment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
