The Maintenance Technician position performs a wide variety of electrical maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, diagnostic and operation verifications to ensure that all production, machinery, electrical equipment and systems remain fully functional at high performance levels for Diamond Pet Foods. The Key responsibilities will include: As directed and trained, ensure all electrical units in the facility are functioning Routinely check for any malfunctions regarding equipment Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems Test results to ensure accuracy of repairs for full function of systems and machinery Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery Perform all functions including but not limited to welding, fabrication, and reading schematics Record repairs and maintenance preformed Qualifications Computer literate Certified to operate forklift (Diamond will certify you) Lockout Tagout Certified Able to lift 50 lbs. product routinely and climb ladders Maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule Flexibility to help cover for other employees when called upon Work overtime Benefits 100% coverage of Medical Insurance premiums Dental, vision and disability insurance Life insurance for employees, spouse and children Company match 401(k) PTO
