Maintenance Supervisor Location: The Helm - Kansas City, KS Primary Responsibilities * Provides effective leadership to a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Fosters a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth. * Ensures a preventative maintenance plan is followed which includes schedules, inspections, and repairs. Ensures that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently, promptly, and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines. * Conducts regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues. Develops strategies to address identified problems and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. * Assigns tasks to maintenance service team members and ensures timely completion of service requests. * Ensures apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents. Qualifications & Experience * HVAC certification required. * Certified Apartment Maintenance Tech (CAMT) in a plus. * 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
