If so, this may be the job for you. Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA has an opening for a Maintenance Scheduler at our plywood mill. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and must be able to multi-task well. Our Team Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA is part of GP's building products division and one of the leading plywood manufacturing plants. What You Will Do * Ensure daily and weekly maintenance schedules are available and communicated, distributed. * Effectively use the CMMS to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule * Work with the business unit to create and provide maintenance outage/shutdown for the plant outages. * Work closely with area maintenance leadership, operations leadership, capital engineers, reliability personnel, and crafts persons to provide effective scheduling of daily work and outage/ shutdown functions * Scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor), utilizing tools such as Gantt charts (Microsoft Project), Critical Path Analysis, and resource leveling * Lead the meeting process prior to and during outages/shutdowns and post-outage critique * Provide updates to business unit leaders and audit cost adherence and quality execution during outages/shutdown * Work with Maintenance Leadership Team to develop an outage/shutdown schedule in Microsoft Project or similar software that allows for complete outage tracking * Develop an understanding of safety standards to effectively schedule the correct work at the correct time * Providing administrative support, generating reports, maintenance metrics, performing data entry, and scheduling maintenance work orders for the maintenance team - maintains essential maintenance records and files. * Schedule executable work orders based on requirements of the department leadership team * Print and distribute scheduled work orders for maintenance, operations, and safety based on the scheduled work date * Generate and distribute monthly maintenance 4-week forecast * Effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders, including Maintenance and Production Team Leaders, Reliability Coordinators, and Operations Leadership * Demonstrate high initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work safely and efficiently as a team and independently * Identify/recommend opportunities for improvements * Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental and purchasing policies, guidelines, and procedures * Willing and able to work in a tobacco free environment * Willing and able to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, steel-toe boots, and other job-specific PPE) * Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment. * Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, and pushing/pulling for up to twelve hours a day * Willing and able to work any shift, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime as need arises. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience in Maintenance Process/workflow in an industrial manufacturing environment * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project * Experience with a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) What Will Put You Ahead * Associates degree or higher in Business or Technical or Engineering field * Experience with MP2 system * Experience with scheduling large industrial shutdowns and outages At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
