Maintenance Mechanic II for Cloverwood Full Time Days ** Pay range between $19.53-25.55/hour ** (based on experience) At our highly rated community located in Pittsford, NY - Cloverwood's exceptional offerings promote a passion for life, as well as personal growth and wellbeing of the whole person - in mind, body, and spirit. Requirements for a Cloverwood Maintenance Mechanic II: High school diploma or GED. 1 year or more of building/maintenance experience. Must have a valid NYS driver's license. Ability to troubleshoot and repair building equipment and systems (i.e. plumbing, electrical, HVAC). Possess effective written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities for a Cloverwood Maintenance Mechanic: General maintenance trhoughout the campus, in and around resident living areas. Maintain the grounds, community, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area. Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed. Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be. Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc, to your supervisor immediately. Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping and snow removal as necessary and as directed. Perform routine maintenance and repair on the community and equipment to include plumbing, drywall, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, as necessary and as directed. Perform preventative maintenance audits as directed. Maintain pool and spa within proper safety guidelines and maintain documentation. Have the ability to assess emergency situations and respond accordingly. Provide security function in the absence of security guard. Provide assistance with valet parking of resident's automobiles. Coordinate daily maintenance services with all other staff when performing routine assignments in residents living areas. Ability to monitor Personal Emergency Response System and Notified Fire Alarm Systems. Prepare written reports, as necessary. Conduct patrol of facility. Ensure that work and assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored before leaving such areas on break or at the end of the work day. Set up/break down rooms for community functions; including moving furniture.
