The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the company are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list. :Installing and repairing all electrical devices within the plant. :Performing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, etc. on all production equipment, utilities, building/grounds, etc. :Completing parts requisitions, work orders, time sheets, in Computerized Maintenance Management System. :Electrician disassembles defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment. :Responsible for replacing all fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches :Working independently and on teams. :Demonstrating safe work practices. :Use PLCs for routine troubleshooting. :Understand and complete all associated paperwork. :Adhere to preventative/predictive maintenance schedules. :Read and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints :Other duties as assigned Required Skills :Self:sufficient and cost effectively perform all required mechanical and pneumatic assembly operations. :Complete knowledge and understanding of assembly drawing blueprints at a complex level. :Must have extensive knowledge for identification and working knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic components. :Mechanical assembly skills on large equipment a plus. :Ability to troubleshoot, adjust and debug to finalize majority of machine lines required in house or at the customers facility. :Ability to perform inquiry and printouts as required in manufacturing and engineering systems. :Trained and knowledgeable in Mechanical Assembly Standards, Engineering Standards, other applicable procedures and parts flow. : :High school graduate or equivalent. :Two year technical degree in mechanical systems or equivalent experience plus five years applicable experience. :7:10 years of related maintenance experience in a converting facility is preferred Required Experience At Graphic Packaging International (NYSE: GPK), we produce the box you may have poured your childs cereal from this morning, the microwaveable tray that heated your lunch, the paper cup that held your coffee throughout the day, and the carrier of those bottles of craft beer you may enjoy tonight Were one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper:based packaging for some of the worlds most recognized brands of food, beverage, foodservice, household, personal care and pet care products.
