Machine Operator SUMMARY Responsible for properly running machinery for product preparation ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Ability to operate equipment on the pie line. Ensure proper operation of machine. Ability to troubleshoot minor issues on pie line. Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment. Maintain needed material stocked. Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line. Ability to lead other employees. Ability to follow and give instruction clearly. Ability to communicate and understand numerous product changes, flavors, etc. Follow all Table Talk's Foods SQF, Security and GMP policies. Ability to complete necessary paperwork. Assist in cleaning and maintaining pie line area clean. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Language Skills Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Certificates, Licenses, Registrations This job does not require any specific certificates, licenses, or registrations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high places; extreme cold; extreme heat; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, therefore hearing protection is not required. QUALITY The employee understands the importance of food safety- Legality, Safety, Quality and Authenticity of the product.
