We are looking for an Exceptional Professional! An inspired, ethical, and relentless mortgage professional to join our top-producing team. This Expert has a talented mix of guideline knowledge, and processing abilities, and will act as the "right arm" to our Sr. Loan Officers. We are currently seeking a Loan Processor to join our growing team locally in our Fort Lauderdale branch. This role will work directly with the borrowers to provide a seamless and expeditious mortgage process, along with white-glove customer service. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented. This position requires the knowledge to analyze customer credit, review income, and asset documents, and generally structure a loan. The Loan Processor will follow up with customers, referral partners, loan officers, and other team members, and communicate with them throughout the loan process. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities:• Manage a pipeline of loans and maintain a timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.• Maintain loan origination system and database with proper loan information.• Order the following documentation as necessary: Verification of Employment, Evidence of Insurance, Payoffs, Tax Transcripts, Credit Supplements, Condo Questionnaires, Subordination Requests, and Title Work as needed for each file.• Follow up on documents ordered in a timely manner.• Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met.• Handle all borrower communication from the point of contract to the closing of the loan.• Communicate with Underwriters to clarify conditions. Help administer all documents that are needed to satisfy underwriting requirements.• Perform other related duties as assigned and required.• Handle all Loan Officer, Loan Partner, and Underwriter communication with updates.• Be a sponge for information/knowledge, always striving to be the best possible at your position.• Be a leader, helping us improve our processes and procedures to always deliver a world-class experience to the clients and referral partners. Qualifications:• Must have a current working knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/NON-QM) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation.• Know how to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as general ways to structure a loan.• Exceptional attention to detail, must be organized, and have excellent time management.• Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience, 5+ preferred.• Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task without being micro-managed to meet multiple deadlines and a keen sense of urgency.• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.• Work well in a fast-paced, team environment.• Minimum of an HSD or GED equivalent Compensation: $36,000 - $45,000 + bonus About Company: We have over 33 years of direct lending experience and take pride in providing our customers with an honest and professional lending experience.
