Practice Area: Litigation - Securities Litigation - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Securities Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of securities litigation experience. The ideal candidate should be admitted to the Bar and possess strong litigation skills in securities matters.Duties and Responsibilities:Handle securities litigation cases from initiation through resolution.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to securities litigation.Assist in discovery processes, including document review, preparation of discovery requests, and depositions.Analyze complex financial documents and securities laws to formulate case strategies.Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as required.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and tactics.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Stay abreast of legal developments and changes in securities laws and regulations.Requirements:JD degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.2+ years of experience in securities litigation at a law firm or similar environment.Strong understanding of securities laws, regulations, and litigation procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conducting discovery, including depositions and document review.Financial analysis skills related to securities matters.Courtroom experience and trial preparation skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
