The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in privacy and data security litigation, including experience with government regulation and policy enforcement in US, EU, and APEC jurisdictions.Duties:Represent clients in privacy and data security litigation matters.Advise on compliance with US, EU, and APEC privacy regulations.Handle complex cases involving government regulation and policy enforcement.Draft and review legal documents and reports.Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for data security and privacy protection.Stay updated on technology trends and their legal implications.Conduct legal research and analysis on privacy and cybersecurity issues.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation related to privacy and data security.Experience with US, EU, and APEC privacy regulations and enforcement.Aptitude for technology and understanding of technological systems.CIPP certification is a plus.Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.CIPP certification preferred.Skills:Expertise in privacy laws and data security.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
