Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel for their office in Reston, VA.Job Overview:As Litigation Of Counsel, you will supervise associates, develop case strategies, and provide high-level support in complex commercial and product liability litigation matters. You will also communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and ensure adherence to firm policies and practices.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties.Supervise associates and guide on legal matters.Work collaboratively with experts and assist in fact development and depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Help develop case strategy and contribute to litigation planning.Ensure timely and accurate completion of work assignments.Foster positive relationships and maintain client satisfaction.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.Requirements:JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Admitted to practice law in New York and VA.Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.Management skills to supervise and mentor associates.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in New York and VA.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Attention to detail and sound business judgment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Persuasive communication and influence skills.Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.Benefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
