Here are the job details:Job Overview: The Litigation Of Counsel will be critical in managing and overseeing complex litigation matters, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring high-quality legal representation for clients.Job Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise associates and collaborate with other team members.Work closely with experts in various fields relevant to litigation cases.Assist in fact development and conduct depositions as necessary.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Contribute to the development of case strategy and provide insightful legal analysis.Produce deliverables, answer client inquiries promptly, and maintain responsive communication.Adhere to firm policies and practices, ensuring compliance at all times.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work and virtual meetings.Requirements:8+ years of litigation experience, ideally from an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as needed.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.Ability to think conceptually and influence others effectively.Management skills to supervise and mentor junior associates.JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.Additional degrees or certifications such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology are preferred.Licensed to practice law in New York and admitted to practice in DC.Benefits: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
