Training is available for those new to the collections field, making this a great opportunity for attorneys seeking growth in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Negotiate resolutions for pending litigationDraft and review pleadings, discovery documents, and motionsAttend hearings and trials in the assigned regional areaEngage in motion practice and execute legal documentsWork independently while interacting professionally with staff, opposing counsel, and the courtsRequirements:1 year of civil litigation experience (preferred)Ability to manage a high-volume case load with excellent organizational skillsStrong understanding of courtroom procedures and civil litigation practicesProficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft OfficeAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with legal teamsEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active member of the Texas State Bar (required)Skills:Strong negotiation and litigation skillsFamiliarity with courtroom processes and civil litigationProficiency in legal document preparation and reviewAbility to interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
