Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills, along with excellent academic credentials (top 25% required). Duties:Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions.Assist with all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.Analyze and summarize legal documents and case materials.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required. Requirements:Excellent academic credentials, with a GPA ranking in the top 25%.3-6 years of litigation experience.Strong writing and research skills.Admission to the State Bar of Louisiana, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Louisiana, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with relevant legal software and databases.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
