We're hiring a detail-oriented individual with exceptional time management abilities who is passionate about providing clients with an exceptional dining experience. As our next line cook, you will be responsible for ensuring that every dish is cooked and presented following appropriate recipes, and presentation standards, and with accuracy for the guest order. Responsibilities: • Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served• Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude• Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift Qualifications: • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED• Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail About Company: Dolce by Wyndham is a boutique upscale full-service hotel. It has 100 rooms, manual room keys, kosher catering, and a special designated Shabbos elevator that stops automatically on every floor.
