Overview Of Role: The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. May be expected to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities:• Prepare the basic components of each dish on our menu• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures• Ensure that the kitchen, food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleaning standards• Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on the restaurant's schedule• Run a Char Grill and check temperatures on steaks• Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Qualifications: • High level of professionalism• Excellent verbal communication skills• Strong teamwork skills• Customer service ensures every guest has an outstanding experience Education And Experience Required: • A minimum of one (1) year of ala carte, line cooking experience in a high-volume environment, is required• A high school diploma or GED, is preferred Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift at least twenty-five (25) pounds• Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping• Ability to stand for extended periods of time Compensation: $16 an hour to start About Company: The Eden Resort & Suites offers a collection of unique and up-scale guest rooms and suites, unsurpassed on-site recreational facilitates, and exceptional staff ready to meet guests' needs.
