Shenandoah Psychological Services, an outpatient private practice in Harrisonburg, VA, is looking for a full-time psychologist, professional counselor, or clinical social worker to join our group practice. Must be fully licensed in the state of Virginia and interested in working with children and adolescents, in addition to adults. Shenandoah Psychological Services provides a steady stream of referrals as well as a full staff to allow you to work your billable hours as efficiently as possible and to ensure you can maintain a healthy work-life balance. Candidate must employ best clinical and regulatory practices, be driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians. Candidate will be employee status and must be willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws/regulations. As an employee, you are covered by unemployment insurance and workers' compensation insurance. Candidate may choose to provide in-person sessions at our local office or teletherapy from the office or remotely. Candidate must be available a minimum of 3 days per week in our local office, to ensure we can meet the needs of our local community. Candidate may schedule their own days/times worked and specify the parameters of their caseload, including clients with whom they would like to work.Compensation is percentage based on income received, and paid out bimonthly. Below is a realistic yearly salary estimate. It is based on weekly hours billed, including at least 4 weeks off per year:25 billed hours per week - $81,250.0030 billed hours per week - $97,500.0035 billed hours per week - $113,750.00*For 25 billed hours per week, doctoral-level psychologists would earn approximately $5,000-$16,000 more, depending on the insurances billed.*Unlike independent contractor positions, we pay the employer-portion of social security and medicare taxes. In 2023, our employer-paid portion of taxes, health/vision/dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, and reimbursement for Psychology Today was an additional $12,000 - $22,500 in benefits for full-time employees (this amount was not included in the above estimates, it is in addition to that amount).Therapist is expected to bill a minimum of 25 direct hours per week. Therapist schedule is flexible.
