Identify, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease/ prevent deformity. Responsible for mentoring Therapists, Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disciplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Facilitates the provision of excellent customer service.Patients and families: Provide patient assessment, care, and information. Address concerns and complaints. Project a positive image of the departmental and hospital Physicians: and other healthcare team members: Promote coordination of care. Address concerns and complaints Community and Business: Provide education. * EDUCATION o Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.* EXPERIENCEo None* LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATIONo Current NC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners: Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligible.* OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSo Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members.* WORK ENVIRONMENTo Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, temperature changes and occasional noxious odors.
