This appointment is scheduled to begin on August 26, 2024 and end December 31, 2024. Responsibilities* Responsibilities include course coordination and teaching of the following course in the Fall term 2024:COMM 405 - Seminar in Mass Media and Mass Communication - Marketing Technologies Required Qualifications* Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, a proven teaching record of excellence, and a portfolio of work demonstrating a commitment to moving image media as an art form. The Department of Communication and Media integrates theory and practice within a liberal arts context. Union Affiliation This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. Background Screening The University of Michigan conducts background checks on all job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background checks.
