JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Technical Publications & Training , this role is responsible for leading the training content development team in crafting training experiences aligned with broader company objectives and desired results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing training needs, mapping these to effective solutions, evaluating results, and reporting the ROI of training initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Closing performance gaps by selecting appropriate training modalities and assessment methodologies based on identified objectives, extensive project management experience, evaluation expertise, and excellent communication skills, are all essential components for success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of Certification Programs Manage Sprints for development and release of learning content to pilot groups Identify data sources to map training results to broader goals of the company Craft objectives and select training modalities based on desired learning outcomes Deliver monthly reports to communicate ROI to internal and external stakeholders Develop appropriate assessments to ascertain learner competence Craft storyboards for online learning projects, develop training assets and job aid documentation according to project needs, and create online learning modules to post in LMS Develop cyclical training content update schedules to keep content current Perform other related duties as assigned ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with peers in delivering and organizing in-person training sessions Assist with management and maintenance of LMS portal Organize and conduct remote training via Webinars Lead annual Train the Trainer workshops for External Training team KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Instructional Design / eLearning Project demos Practical understanding of Adult Learning Theory Strong team player with willingness to lead or follow as appropriate Excellent written and oral communication skills Technical skills Microsoft Office Suite - Word / PPTX / Excel Webinar Tools eLearning Development Tools (Articulate 360 and / or Captivate) PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE LMS Admin experience ( strongly preferred ) Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign Camtasia Videography Experience Front End Web Development experience - HTML, CSS, JavaScript EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE : Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Educational Technology or related field required OR 7+ years of Instructional Design Experience (automotive field preferred) 2+ years of Project Management Experience *The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
