The role involves leading complex cases in humanitarian and family-based immigration while providing strategic guidance and mentorship to the firm's legal professionals.Job Duties:Lead the immigration law team, providing mentorship and guidance to attorneys and staff.Collaborate closely with the Owner and Managing Attorney to develop and execute strategic goals for the firm.Handle complex cases in humanitarian and family-based immigration law.Provide expertise and support in employment-based immigration matters.Uphold the firm’s core values of community, family, and respect in all professional interactions.Engage with the community and represent the firm in professional forums and events.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Nebraska State Bar.5+ years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on humanitarian and family-based immigration.Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a legal team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in employment-based immigration is a plus.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Nebraska State Bar.Skills:Expertise in humanitarian and family-based immigration law.Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Strategic planning and goal-setting skills.Ability to handle complex legal issues and cases.Community engagement and public speaking abilities.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.Paid time off and professional development opportunities.Collaborative and supportive work environment fostering growth and career advancement.
