Location: Kirkland, WA office Working remotely is expected Working location: Western WA & Idaho License: Real Estate License in Washington or Idaho Principal Duties and Responsibilities Prospect for new listings regularly with an emphasis on non-industrial private forest land owners (NIPF) Provide guidance and assist sellers/buyers in marketing/purchasing timberland and agricultural property. Determine clients' needs and financial abilities to propose suitable solutions. Maintain membership in an appropriate multiple listing service(s). Act as an intermediary in negotiation processes. Consult on market conditions, pricing, lending practices, land use regulations, and value-added opportunities. Perform comparative market analysis/broker price opinion. Display and market acreage properties to potential buyers. Prepare necessary paperwork (listing agreements, sale agreements, and relevant addendums and supplements, etc.). Maintain real estate files in compliance with State regulations and company policies. Update listings of available properties according to internal guidelines. Collaborate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders, and other stakeholders. Develop networks with brokers, attorneys, mortgage lenders, contractors, and other industry professionals. Demonstrate continued high-level sales success through effective marketing. Required Qualifications Valid real estate broker’s or sales associate license. Excellent interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and county land record system searches. Capability to work full-time as an independent contractor*. Financial readiness to operate in a commission-only structure and invest in necessary tools and marketing materials. Soft Skills: Communication, Interpersonal, Negotiation, Problem-Solving, Time Management, Patience, Attention to Detail, Integrity and Ethics. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in land-focused real estate or a related field. 3+ years of sales experience and 5+ years of professional related field experience. Knowledgeable in rural real estate aspects such as timber, forestry, agriculture, recreation, wildlife habitat, hunting, minerals, soils, conservation, and other land use attributes.
