The ideal candidate should be licensed to practice law in New York and have a background in wage and hour class actions or wage and hour advice and counsel. Duties and Responsibilities:Handling all aspects of labor and employment litigation matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, and employment contract disputes.Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB.Providing advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of employment law issues.Conducting internal investigations and assisting with compliance audits.Participating in client meetings and negotiations. Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.4-6 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.Preferably experience with wage and hour class actions or advice and counsel in wage and hour matters.Strong understanding of federal and state labor and employment laws.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills:Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in legal research and writing. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.
