The ideal candidate must possess superior analytical skills, strong academic credentials, and excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal skills.Duties:Conducting trademark searches and providing clearance opinions.Drafting and filing trademark applications with the USPTO.Managing trademark portfolios and advising clients on trademark prosecution strategies.Assisting with trademark enforcement actions and litigation matters.Drafting IP-related agreements, including licensing and assignment agreements.Conducting due diligence for corporate transactions involving intellectual property.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility to sit for the next DC Bar exam.1-3 years of experience in trademark law and intellectual property matters.Experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with copyright law, domain name disputes, or other areas of intellectual property law.Experience with international trademark laws and procedures.Benefits Offered: The firm provides a comprehensive benefits package including Healthcare, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), and wellbeing programs aimed at promoting work-life balance and professional development.
