The selected candidate will primarily handle nursing home defense and medical malpractice cases, with opportunities to work on tort and other liability matters. Strong written communication skills and admission to the Florida Bar are essential for this role. Duties:Handle nursing home defense and medical malpractice cases as the primary focus.Work on tort and other liability matters as needed.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.3+ years of experience in nursing home defense, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, and/or tort litigation.Strong written communication skills. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing. Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Proficiency in legal research tools and software platforms.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
