Candidates should have a strong background in sophisticated real estate transactions, including finance, development, and joint ventures, and must thrive in a collaborative team environment.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis about real estate transactions.Draft and negotiate various real estate agreements and contracts.Provide counsel and support to clients on complex real estate matters.Assist in due diligence investigations and document preparation for transactions.Collaborate with partners and senior associates to manage client relationships effectively.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).Strong understanding of real estate finance, including mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and equity transactions.Experience with dirt real estate transactions such as joint ventures, purchase and sales, ground leases, and development.Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications (if applicable):Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work. The New York law office entered the legal market eight years ago. Sixty practiced attorneys are employed at the New York office. Areas of concentration include finance; general-real estate, bankruptcy-restructurings, corporate-securities, and litigation. Practice industries are varied. Banking-finance, real estate, technology, aviation, and energy-renewables are some of their sectors.
