This role involves managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution, providing vital legal support to clients while fostering growth within a collaborative environment.DutiesOversee personal injury case files throughout the litigation process.Assess potential personal injury claims and offer legal counsel to clients.Draft, review, and amend various legal documents, including motions and pleadings.Research case law and premises liability; gather relevant evidence.Engage with clients, expert witnesses, and medical providers to obtain necessary information.Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.Represent clients in court, mediation, and depositions across California.Maintain updated case files in the case management system.Supervise a team of legal support staff, including paralegals and assistants.Manage a calendar of appointments and court deadlines in line with California procedures.Calculate costs and prepare settlement breakdowns for clients and insurers.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree.Licensed and admitted to practice in the California State Bar.EducationJD from an accredited law school.CertificationsCalifornia State Bar membership is required.SkillsStrong legal research and writing capabilities.Proficient in case management systems (experience with CasePeer preferred).Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.Job LocationLos Angeles, CA.
