π£ Now Hiring: Buyer Attention buyers, purchasing clerks, and procurement specialists! Are you looking for a great work environment? Our client, Lighting Services Inc, is currently seeking a Buyer to join its team. This is an onsite, exempt position with an anticipated annual salary range of $58,500 - $62,000. Key Responsibilities: β’ Initiates purchase orders and amendments for inventory, MRO, and requisitioned items.β’ Reviews MRP for demand of inventory items and issues PO accordingly.β’ Secures and analyzes quotations; negotiates prices and terms with suppliers.β’ Interviews and confers with current and prospective suppliers to determine supply capabilities, transportation logistics, inventory control and management.β’ Ensures PO confirmation is received and reviewed for content and accuracy to meet the needs of the company.β’ Manages delivery of product to meet the company's needs (expedite/de-expedite).β’ Maintains all related documents and information electronically in Epicor both by way of attaching documents and completing memos on: PO, Quotes, Supplier communication, Jobs, etc. Required Skills/Abilities: β’ Basic knowledge of Purchasing skills in a manufacturing environment. (MRP)β’ Personal computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office. Specifically, EXCELβ’ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.β’ Excellent interpersonal skills.β’ Excellent organizational skills. Education and Experience: β’ Associate's degree or some college with emphasis in business administration, economics, and/or engineering preferred.β’ Experience with Epicor ERP system preferable.β’ ISM/APICS Certification a plus.β’ Knowledge of track lighting manufacturing environment is desirable.View the full job description here .
