Journeyman- FOIA Analyst Position Summary DarkStar Intelligence is looking for a dedicated Journeyman FOIA Analyst to join our federal government client's team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and responding to public and official requests for the release of classified and/or sensitive ODNI information under FOIA, PA, or MDR. Duties include delivering training to ODNI personnel, assisting various organizations with ODNI compliance, participating in ODNI and IC working groups, and contributing to annual compliance reports. The role requires stringent enforcement of privacy laws and regulations, including ensuring public accessibility of cleared information and safeguarding personal data. Candidates must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance, a CI Poly, and possess a BS/BA with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Location: McLean, VA FLSA Status: Regular, Full-Time Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Position Type: On-Site Primary Duties and Responsibilities Process and respond to public and official requests for access to classified and sensitive ODNI information under FOIA, PA, or MDR. This includes evaluating whether a request constitutes a new case, defining necessary steps, liaising with relevant organizations for SME input, crafting flawless documents and artifacts, and updating relevant tracking tools, scorecards, and calendars. Maintain an accurate and timely record of case statuses using ODNI-designated tools. Provide training to ODNI personnel on FOIA/PA/MDR policies, processes, and related materials. Participate in ODNI and IC working groups as per government instructions. Collaborate with OGC, ICIG, OEEO, and other relevant bodies to assure full ODNI compliance with all aspects of FOIA/PA/MDR. Uphold public rights to inspect, copy, or download ODNI information that has been cleared for release, in line with legal requirements and government instructions. Enforce the right to access records for any lawful purpose, as per government directives, and subject to statutory exemptions. Ensure individuals have the right to amend their personally identifiable information in records, in line with legal requirements and government instructions. Prevent unauthorized access to personal information, ensuring that an individual’s information is not accessed without their knowledge and consent, in accordance with legal guidelines and government directives. Contribute to annual compliance reports as required by the government. Minimum Qualifications Top Secret/SCI Counterintelligence Polygraph BS/BA +3 years OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
