Heluna health is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to be the leading provider of program services and fiscal sponsorship for over 280 population health initiatives. We are currently seeking a competent, motivated IT Project Supervisor to oversees all aspects of implementing and managing our IT project initiative. JOB DESCRIPTION As an IT Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing technology projects within our organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure successful project delivery. If you’re a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, this role might be an excellent fit for you! This role also involves ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures. You’ll collaborate with other IT professionals to optimize system performance and enhance user experience. Salary range: $116,000 to $128,000 is commensurate with experience ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IT System Administration: * Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications. * Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization. * Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity. Network and Server Management: * Understanding network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. * Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure reliable communication. * Implement security protocols and monitor network traffic. * Physical and virtual in a data center or cloud environment. * Monitor network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and performance metrics. * Optimize network configurations for efficient data flow. * Ensure high availability and redundancy. Project Planning and Execution: * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. * Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. * Coordinate tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress. * Mitigate risks and address issues as they arise. Stakeholder Management: * Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including team members, IT director, and executive. * Set clear expectations and maintain positive relationships. * Ensure alignment between project goals, expectations and business objectives. Security and Compliance: * Manage security best practices to protect against cyber threats. * Conduct vulnerability assessments and address security vulnerabilities. * Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Budget and Resource Management: * Estimate project costs and create budgets. * Allocate resources efficiently. * Track expenses and adjust as needed. Quality Assurance: * Ensure project deliverables meet expectations. * Conduct testing and validation. * Implement best practices and continuous improvement. * Proactively addressing challenges. Change Management: * Facilitate organizational change related to technology projects. * Manage user adoption and training. Reporting and Documentation: * Generate regular status reports. * Document project details, decisions, and lessons learned. * Generate any necessary instruction for continuing processes. Other job duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred. Certificates/Licenses/Clearances * PMP (Project Management Professional) and Network+ or Security + certification preferred. Experience * A minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing IT system administration and projects from initiation to closure. * Experience and solid understanding in IT Technology and infrastructure including but not limited to Server Management, Networking, System Configuration, Monitoring and Performance Optimization, Security, Backup and Recovery, and Database Management.
