A description of the business units can be found at: Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas:Criminal Investigation, Headquarters. The Body Worn Camera Coordinators (BWCC) will be in Digital Forensics and Field Office locations.The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. As the focal point of expertise in a program area, the incumbent formulates and drafts policies related to the program, prepares and assists in the preparation of specialized reports such as the Business Performance Review (BPR) and Annual Business Plan (ABP); writes directives, and memoranda for national distribution, and develops technical and procedural guidelines for publication in the Internal Revenue Manual (IRM) and the Law Enforcement Manual (LEM). Evaluates how effectively the Service/CI is accomplishing its overall mission, strategies, priorities, and goals by conducting independent studies and research and utilizing data from a variety of sources. The incumbent is involved in the development and evaluation of CI strategies, operational priorities, and goals and will be responsible for the preparation of action plans, schedules, short- and long-term analyses, budget submissions, staffing models, reports, statistical summaries, and/or other pertinent information for the purpose of identifying trends, drawing conclusions or making recommendations to management on operations. Meets with executives and senior managers of the Service on strategy and planning issues for the purpose of accommodating points of view, resolving conflicts, fostering consensus, enhancing cooperation, and facilitating the achievement of mutual goals. As liaison between CI and managers and executives of other agencies affected by programs administered by CI, the incumbent represents the Service as a subject matter expert regarding the assigned program. The incumbent works to resolve conflicts or complications with other agencies which might adversely affect the accomplishment of CI's strategic goals and priorities. Reviews video footage captured to assess agents' law enforcement performance and ensure law enforcement practices are consistent with policy and approved enforcement plans. BWCC will utilize knowledge of Use of Force techniques and related investigative policies to identify and assess training, tactical or operational safety issues. The BWCC will raise these concerns to field office senior management. The BWCC will partner with field office senior management to recommend potential remediations to the identified issues.
