Duties:Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Draft and negotiate intellectual property agreements, licenses, and contracts.Conduct intellectual property due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Manage intellectual property litigation, including infringement disputes and enforcement actions.Perform trademark and patent prosecution before the USPTO and other relevant agencies.Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property issues.Develop and implement intellectual property protection strategies for clients. Requirements:Portable business.Extensive experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney.Admission to the State Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage complex intellectual property matters and transactions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Education/Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar in New York or ability to become licensed.Certification in Intellectual Property Law preferred. Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements and documents.Knowledge of relevant intellectual property law software and tools.Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong business development and networking skills.
