The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctorate degree, be admitted to the USPTO, and be licensed to practice law in Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oregon, or New Jersey. Duties:Evaluate and manage patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios for clients.Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.Draft and negotiate strategic commercial agreements related to IP, such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.Provide legal counsel on IP-related issues and disputes. Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is mandatory.Admission to practice law in at least one of the following states: Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oregon, or New Jersey.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably within the life sciences industry.Familiarity with technology transactions involving IP rights. Skills:Strong academic credentials and research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents. Certifications:Admission to the USPTO.
